Today
Verse and rhythm
Today’s scripture with teaching, reflection, and prayer in one flow. End with pulse to name how close you feel to following Jesus.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5-6

— Proverbs 3:5-6
Enough for this step
There is rest in not needing to make the whole path straight yourself.
The verse does not say, "Understand all your ways." It says, "Acknowledge Him." That is quieter. It means God can be turned toward here, in this step, before the full road is visible.
Remaining in this truth may be as simple as letting the next step be enough. Not solving the whole future. Not forcing certainty. Not demanding a full explanation before you can be at peace.
The Lord is not only waiting at the end of the path. He is present in the way itself.
Proverbs 3:5-6

Reflection
What would it look like to let the next step be enough today?
Action
Take two quiet minutes with no problem-solving. Acknowledge God in the path you are on, then let the next step wait until it is time.
Lord, you are with me in the way itself. Help me rest without needing to straighten the whole path in my own mind.
